new killzone 2 videos.

there's 3 of them.

the levels are huge, I noticed a little screen tearing in the rocket launcher clip but it's early, the textures are blurry, he's probably playing on the easiest difficulty, the blood spray and spatter on the walls is AWESOME, it has a cover system that looks like rainbow 6: vegas but it's in first-person, it's not like stranglehold where the whole pillar is destroyed by one clip (small parts fall off with every shot), in the intro video he detaches the camera and goes waaaaaaaay out and there's no pop-up at all, he says the level is 2 GB.

Is there anywhere that I can download the videos in HD?  I notice tearing as well but it's not that bad.  Game looks like Gears of War but with much more going on, which is obviously great.  I notice some texture popping in but I guess there's not much that can be done about that when consoles only have 256mb Vram.  Framerate looks steady also which is another plus.  The weapons that you are holding are probably the best I've seen so far.  I hope they do a little bit more with the animations though.  So far most of the enemies move kinda stiff which is incongruent with the rest of the nice visuals.  KZ2 definitely has much potential.  It has the kind of technical strenghts that I expected to see from Resistance.

click on the HD version of the video and then click on download at gametrailers.

360 actually has 400 MB of VRAM.  I agree with what you said about there being a lot of things that look good but that have small problems but you have to consider that it's a year away.

Resistance was good for a launch game when you consider how well it was running and how many features it had.
