We need to start doing PMs on GAF and see if we can get people to *quietly* leave and start coming here.

I still post on GAF, but do so less and less. Too many distinguished mentally-challenged fellows or elitist pricks that drag things down. I'd love to ask some stuff in the VF5 thread there, for example, but forget it.

Dcharlie, it'll be nice to have you posting here more often although I did enjoy your never ending battles against the SDF. The good thing about EB is that most people's responses aren't as easily predictable or as lopsided as they are at GAF.

GAF really has turned to complete liquid feces as soon as the board got lots of mediatic attention in early to mid 2005 for its constant coverage of 360 and PS3 news, attracting thousands of new members; with this and the constant banning of the most interesting/controversial members the forum never recovered

it's got NOTHING in common with the cool place that it once was on the UBB, IGN, Ezboard and Gamesquad forums; who can believe that there was a time when the debates were captivating to read, the drama worth following, and the running gags somewhat entertaining and not even really irritating?

Hey DC. I keep thinking to myself that I'm going to just post over here from now on but I'm still finding myself pulled in by the gravity of the distinguished mentally-challenged fellow nexus that is GAF now. I've always held a certain distain for people that complained about how things "were better back when" but I guess I'm turning into one of those people 'cause GAF really was better years ago. I don't know when the GAF stupid storm exactly started (2004? 2005?) but it's a fricken nightmare over there now. It's like Evillore copied and pasted the members of the PS3forum and dumped them into the GAF community. There's no regulation over those guys and they can pretty much go hog fucking wild. It's insane.
