My iPod Nano died. I should really just get a new iPod, but for some reason I want a Zune 2 because you can etch paintings on the back of it, and it looks nice.

Slap me if you feel it's necessary.

If I were to buy a new mp3 player it would be the creative zen 8gb (flash) for portability reasons

because I already own the creative zen vision m 30gb(hdd) for everything else.

I was just looking through some newspaper ads. A few places (Sears, Circuit City) will give you a $15-$25 giftcard when you buy a Zune.

FWIW, I have a Creative Zen Nano and I like it. The battery lasts FOREVER and the sound is good and everything.

i heard that amazon is selling Zune 30GB for $89. although I recommend buying the Zune 80GB or the flash Zunes (4,8GB).

To the OP: If you have substantial iTunes songs just pick up another Nano. If you don't pick up whatever you wish. There are ways to break the DRM from iTunes songs; it's a pain in the ass, though.
