Luckily the manager excepted my ounce of gold after I ensured her that it would be worth $800 in a year; logicially she ripped me off, but who cares. I just wanted to use my gold the right way, spread awareness about its benefits, and make my contribution to the company's accounts receivable listing

And a Japanese teriyaki steak lunch - $20

a 16 ounce redbull - $4

and a special K bar for breakfast - $2.50

I bought a Honey Butter Homestyle Melt at Burger King for 1/250 of an ounce of gold.

Then I paid my toll on the toll road by tossing 1/400 of an ounce of gold into the tollbooth.

Then I went to the dentist and got my teeth capped with 1/16 an ounce of gold. I also use this gold to pay my dentist! My dentist is BYOG, because he recognizes gold has intrinsic value as a useful metal.

I hope this works for you. I held off on buying it because there're lots of horror stories about it crashing ever 5 mins or so. MS/EPIC are aware of the problem too but they haven't figured out a fix. They suspect that it has something to do with incompatibilities betweeen GFW Live and anti-virus software.

It's apparently smooth when it actually does run. However, it only runs for 5-10 mins for many unless they're willing to turn off GFW Live completely. The problem with turning off Live is you'll get no achievements and worst of all, you can't save.

I really really really wish we had Pink Godzilla in NYC - sure they're expensive but they're still a lot cheaper than Videogames NY and have a much better selection than J&L, the 2 main import stores that I know of in NY.

PG is pretty comparable with Play Asia in terms of new releases. I always try to preorder with them on new release import titles. They don't drop their prices on older and used titles, but I can't blame them. They don't make anywhere near as much as the big online import vendors, so they can't afford to lower prices like they do.

What colors do they come in? I'm glad that I never bought a 2nd Sixaxis. I hope they tightened up the sticks for the DS3 and fixed the squishy triggers.

PG has black and white DS3's. I think those are the only two colors they come in right now. The $69.99 price point is holding me back, though.

That's not too bad. Isn't the Sixaxis 49.99? They must make a huge profit on them though. I remember the controllers being much cheaper in Japan when I visited this summer.

Yeah, it isn't that bad. I already have two Sixaxis controllers, and while it would be nice to get two more for the ocassional 4-player split screen Resistance or Call of Duty 4 get together at my place, it would just sit. That, and rumble never did much for me. It's more of an impulse thing.
