then i went out to lunch to a restaurant and i ordered buffalo chicken tenders and they brought out chicken tenders smothered in barbecue sauce.  i told the waiter and he took it to the back and 5 seconds later he says "no it's buffalo sauce" even though everyone else at the table was like "i can smell the damn barbecue sauce over here"

i work in the arcade/coin-op industry (we still exist!).  the winter is a very slow time period for us, so it's been hard to stay focused and motivated.  but things will pick up early next year.  plus my baby is 2 months away from being born so it's hard to focus on anything else.

i've got a '98 mustang.  it's been a champ up until i hit the 80k miles mark.  now it's showing signs of aging, which makes me very sad.  :'( the car has been a workhorse for me for the past 9 years.

sounds like a wireset or spark plug problem.  i had that problem on my mazda and i just fixed my friends eclipse with the same problem.

take it to autozone and let them test your spark plugs for misfires and they'll be able to tell you.  cheap as balls too

sounds like a simple fix, and i already dropped it off at an auto shop.  when i followed up today, the dude said he couldn't find anything wrong when he ran diagnostics on it.  WTF 

if he doesn't find out what's wrong, i'm going to consider the route you took.  thanks mups

when they run diagnostics at a car place, it's usually test to find anything faulty with larger parts of your system and a simple turn it on and see if it sounds funny.

hell, i watched some dateline-esque show a while back (local news maybe?) who said that most garages won't even run a computer diagnostics if a check engine light isn't on.  there can still be errors and problems in the computer log that won't make the check engine light come on.

My jaw has been bothering me the last few days.   :'(  I think I may have gotten TMJ (sp?).  I stopped eating certain types of foods and did some jaw exercises I found online, and feel a little better today.  No more gum or gummy shit for a while though.
