I seriously don't understand how Patel has been able to consume any media, or even understand the internet, without a working knowledge of the X-Files. The Friday night seasons of the X-Files were the best ones, too. It's funny to think that if the first season of the X-Files aired today, it wouldn't have made it through the first season, probably not even on Friday night. I don't know exactly how it did it, but that show maintained a strong cult following for 2 to 3 solid seasons, on a Friday night, before the internet was even that big. I'm guessing that college dorms kinda kept it afloat.
