Cheebs isn't going to be banned, and isn't fully to blame. I AGREE he should not have associated with Synbios but it's not like he told him to send porn to people. In fact, in the chat log he advises Synbios to lay low with a joke character, not go crazy. But I agree that he should have known he's not worth talking to.

He has TONS of AIM chats saved, and is more than willing to send evidence to other people - which is why I tried to never tell him important stuff

guys, here's some sound advice:

1) ignore synbios. if you all hate him so much, why are you talking with him on AIM, making threads about him, etc? ever heard that saying... how's it go... ignore the attention whore and then they'll go away? oh wait, that's just common sense.

2) stop hunting for his/other people's dupe accounts. yes we do IP checks (at least i do) but if you suspect someone is not who they seem, PM a mod, don't make a thread "OMG GUYS GET IN THIS THREAD NOW SO-AND-SO IS SYNBIOS"

if we continue to have a real problem with people using proxies to make dupe accounts, we'll take actions to prevent it, i.e. banning well-known proxies and not allowing signups using free e-mail accounts, à la GAF. the latter being something i'm sure no one wants to implement, but if it comes to that, there's really not much choice.

in the meantime, please stop making these witch-hunt threads as they almost always degenerate into some sort of argument and never really get us anywhere productive. thanks.
