At 1, I went to an italian restaurant in santa cruz with friends. god damn good food. helped get my energy up.
after eating, we went to the beach (in december!) and the weather was awesome. it was around 70 degrees and so us distinguished mentally-challenged fellows decided to just stand in knee deep waves. as in just stand in one spot and drink mexican coke (awesome shit). we did this for 30 minutes. eventually, we got bored and decided to try and get back home before the traffic and around 3 we left.
at 5, I went with some other friends to chuck e' cheeses. why no one told me each arcade game is 1 token there I will never know but it was awesome. my friends exploited the bowling/bullseye machine thing where you have to get a ball into a hole with a certain number of points. one guy would literally lay on the fucking adjacent bowling machine and be handed the balls to throw into the 10,000 point holes. it was 50,000 points for a jackpot (325 tickets) and they would at first give like 10 tickets to the 5 year olds there to do that for them but then they decided to do it themselves. they didn't only do that machine though. they also found a way to exploit one of those machines where you have to press a button once a light bulb (which is kind of circulating) on the jackpot spot lights up. once the machines jackpot builds up to 72, it builds up after each failed attempt, the next person to get withing a couple spots of the jackpot automatically wins the jackpot. this happened literally 5-6 times. between 5 people, we got 3,000 tickets and we played a lot normal games too. they changed the ticket counting method from when I was a kid (they used to just weight the tickets) but now they have a machine that swallows all the tickets and gives you a receipt. we found out from the person in front of us that you can take 2 tickets and keep on pulling them out and putting them back in (like a 1/4 inch at a time) and the machine will keep on counting. it was awesome.
