So yeah, I switched from Comcast to Verizon last week to save an assload of money. Everything went good until we found out we wern't getting the 19" LCD TV because FioS TV isn't in my area. That and we would have to wait a week for internet.
During my week away I did nothing but watch DVDs and wait until the return of internet so I could look up some Christmas porn and really get into the holiday cheer. I also found this old copy of Drawing of the Three by Stephen King. I started to read it and gave up on page 2 because it was kinda dull.
Anyway, onto some good news. My mother met with my father to talk about things. At first it didn't seem so good but it worked out because he came home on the weekend and is still here without any fighting. Which is great because he appears to be less of an asshole, for now at least.
Moving onto Christmas, Shockingly we actually had one, and shit was good. I have to give alot of credit to my mom this year because she went all over the place to find the best deals on all this stuff. And thanks to this real nasty bitch at the Toys R Us, I was able to get 2 free Xbox games.
My Uncle was also pretty nice this year aswell. He got me a Cell Phone so I when I go out and make all those friends I'll have a way to talk to them. Granted, it is a TracPhone but it does work well and I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
The Art Book and Car was from the people at my Nanas work. She also got a Turkey and some other can goods. Seriously, my mom out did herself this year she used a shit load of coupons to get me some those sweet ass clothes and if it wasn't for going all the way out to the TRU in Virgina I would have never gotten COD4 and Crackdown for free.
Oh and a little note about COD4. What the fuck is with the case? It doesn't have a push down button and I was afraid of breaking the disk. I had to swap cases with Kameo until I get my replacement case.
All in all my week without TV, Internet or a phone line might have been the best yet.
I still got to wonder though, what the fuck have I missed? Someone fill me in.
