Store fuck ups, sometimes its just your lucky day

So i went to go see some live music tonight and have dinner at a resturaunt with someone i know, thought it would be nice to talk a walk through the shops around where we were eating. So i head into bestbuy saw splinter cell double agent just taunting me for my 360.

So as were going around playing guitar hero 2 and chillin. I notice the 1600 points for 5 dollars with game purchase. Well i'm a cheap ass so i buy a gamer gift card which includes a 5 dollar off coupon for games. I try to get the lady to ring it all up she sends me over to customer service. 

Now i'm waiting while my friend is running around looking for some cds. I wait and wait the line is like a mile long as its just before closing time. So i get up to the counter tell the girl about the coupon, giftcard, and 5 dollar MS points deal. She calls up the MAD and asks for a override. Guy comes over does the override.

"That will be $32.38 sir" 

WHAT HUH

"Thats with the game right?" as i asked this she said: "Oh wait i forgot the giftcard"

"Your total now is $27.38" 

I just shut up gave the girl some money and left in disbelief.  Dont know how it happened  but someone returned Trauma Center and it was deducting 29.99 the girl at the terminal was dumb. I was incredibly lucky.

Now i have points for live and i've got Splinter Cell.

Any of you get lucky with store fuck ups?

Once I went to taco bell and ordered 3 bean burritos, no onions and one soft taco. 

What I got was 3 bean burritos, no onions, one soft taco, a nacho cheese chalupa and a supreme burrito.

Also, wal mart had Stay Alive marked for $4.99.  That was a horrible day.

Also, someone at an EB Games once marked a bunch of new games for $.99 on accident.  The people there were distinguished mentally-challenged so I bought about 30 games and it rang up for under 40 bucks and they didn't even ask any questions.

Ill usually catch serious errors at the register if it sounds wrong. Retail taught me that its easier for me to not get something for free than it is for someone to get yelled at because they gave me something for free. In short, I dont go shopping to get free things, so I will not miss them.

However if something is priced wrong by the pricing crew who is generally A LAZY PERSON ANYWAY (relapse) I will take it to the register and play innocent, if they say no they say no.

I bought a six pack (Kingfisher's) but got charged for the price of 1 bottle.
Well stoked I was, particularly because it was so obvious (but the cashier was new).
Kingfisher still suck though.

I did some food shopping and the guy at the deli didn't put the price tag on my sandwich, when checking out it was busy so the cashier said lunch was on him and gave me the sandwitch for free

Day two store two fuck up number two: Today i went to Bj brewery and food a nice place. I went during happy hour with my friend again cause we werent done with last nights talking. So we order up a large pizza, and a beer tasting for each of us. The beer tasting is all the beers they make plus whatever they have on tap. So as were drinking and talking the waitress comes over to chat. She probably wanted a nice tip. But she was just nice and we all had something in common. So our food gets done and our waitress hands us over to another waiter. So we invite her to sit down and have a drink and a slice for shits and giggles.

Our bill comes out and its only the pizza. Find out that all employee's get free booze and since she was nice enough to use her card for us we gave her a nice tip. Roughly the ammount of how much the drinks would have cost.

Splinter Cell sucks though so far.

When I went to buy PSU today, I got my pre-ordered copy, and the guy who got in line 5 seconds after me bought the last non-pre ordered game....

So if I didn't pre order the game, I would've been lucky! not just smart.

Well seems my good luck with SCDA turned to bad luck when i went ot trade it in a few days ago. I didnt have the receipt for what i traded in and i was suppost to get an extra 30% in credit. I didnt care much at the time i just wanted to make sure i could get rid of things i'm not gonna play and what not.

So i read some peoples trade in prices for some of the games i traded in. I noticed something was wrong. And since i didnt have the receipt i was kind of questioning it. So when i went to pick up Gears of War i asked if the girl could find the receipt and print it for me. Seems the manager of the store instead of putting an extra 30% to my credit she deducted 30%.

So now i have to go to the freaking store and bitch at her. And make sure i get the right amount. My total credit from the trades with the deduction was 107.36. I'm thinking she's gonna have to add back the 30% so that its the original amount that i would have gotten without the deal and then adding another 30% to cover the bonus credit.

I'm so freaking pissed off at her. I hope she doesnt try to fuck me over. 

I did the math and if i'm right i should have gotten 181 bucks or so. thats a pretty large difference aint it?

Fuck this fucking store in the ass. Manager finds out about the problem. Tells me she cant do anything about it cause they've sold off some of the items already. And since the transaction was done she has to get approval from accounting to fix it. And in order to do that you need a senior district manager, along with district manager to confirm it.

She said she'll fix it. If it doesnt get taken care of i send the hounds to them. I think a little compensation is in order for this fuck up. Anyone else agree?
