I mean, I really enjoyed No Country and I remember I came back here and was like MOVIE OF THE YEAR, but the last third of the movie really is fairly mediocre and a major tone shift. Up until then, though, it's a nail-bitingly intense and suspenseful chase.
There Will Be Blood, on the other hand, is just a fucking incredible character-driven film that is masterful from beginning to end - pretty much all due to DDL. The score is also fucking great. Jonny Greenwood

And yeah, I guess PTA does deserve some credit too.
