Fuck this game, seriously. It's not that the game is really unplayable it's just that everything is a fucking chore. Basically, as you move from area to area buying buildings cost more which makes sense but getting money is a pain is the ass.

Basically you can follow leads to make money or go around eliminating the gangs in the area. Both normally lead to the cops coming and then you'd have to outrun them or kill them which is pretty similar to GTA but after you "lose" them you have to pay off the cops or your cop heat meter will fill and then you lose a shit load of more money.

Granted, it isn't a big deal but it's suck a kick in the dick to survive like 40 dudes to make $45,000 and then end up spending 90% of it to keep cop heat down.

Moving onto the Gang Heat meter it's basically the same. Kill a Gangster or Drug deal and your bar go's up then you have to pay them off or they attack you. Most of the time they'll get into cars and do drive by's or they will attack your store fronts.

This wouldn't be such a big deal at all but they always like to attack the stores that are all they way across the map. So you can either wait it out and pay a fee to fix your shop or you can buy cameras and guards for your stores. Both are costly and aren't worth it at all.

Basically, the game forces you to scoot by on the bare minimum unless you want to, I shit you not, spend 5-6 hours barely making a million dollars.

The game is also full of bugs too. Sometimes people will fall under the game world and there the only ones I can target which stops me from saving all my cash at the bank. Or my favorite, the mission where I had to defuse the bombs on the boat, the fucking bombs weren't there. Which caused me to restart the ENTIRE hour of missions I just did in order to get the bombs to spawn.

Oh and most of the game involves you holding B until you get to the right point in the meter. Miss it by a bit and get fucked.

In a nutshell, theres nothing about this game that makes it better then the rest of the sandbox games.

The only interesting thing about the game is that I can goto other places becides Miami. I can goto the islands where I hang out with a knock off Samuel L. Jackson or at the end of the game I can goto Bolivia and fight 3 bosses and 100's of fodder back to back. Cool Shit.

At least I'm getting something out of it. I'm getting GH3 and possibly 3200 MS points(Castle Crashers and Ikruga better hit soon). Now however, I'm going to play Godfather. I bet its 100 times better.

Did this game keep any dignity of the movie in it or was it just a sad sandbox game?
