Whatever happened to that FPS controller MS was allegedly making?

I remember taking an online MS survey a while back (a year ago?), and one of the questions was something along the lines of "Would you be interested in purchasing a controller specifically tailored to FPS games," and I checked the HELLS YES box.  Then I read rumors that the controller was actually in development.  So what happened?

MS won't let me plug that into my 360 because PEEPL MIGHT THANK THAT ITZ A PC OHNO

Was it going to be like the Frag Fx?



I wanted to get one for the PS3 but I couldn't find it anywhere.  I hate playing FPS games w/a sixaxis.
