How much did Sony get for selling the Cell division to TOshiba?

Gaming division posting profits, wow PS3 is doing gangbusters.

I believe they netted ~700 million this last quarter for the sale.

I really want to see how many copies No More Heroes sold

Im also really interested in how many PS3s got sold for some reason, dont ask me why, I just find these sorts of figures fascinating

Probably 2 weeks to NPD.

I doubt you'll be seeing NMH numbers. Not on GAF especially.

According to console fanboys believe business decisions are made like this.  Like Microssoft will continue to make the X-Box no matter how unprofitable in order to stick it to sony, or Sega won't make games for a Playstation system because they want revenge.

Actually the second one sounded plausible at the time given the decisions Sega was making.

I don't think MS would do it just out of spite but it makes sense for them to keep making consoles just to keep Sony out of the PC realm.  Sony's desire to replace PCs with Playstations was probably one of the major reasons for MS jumping into the console world.
