I have decided to become a muslim

For a long time I have sought a god to follow, but now, after reigniting my love affair with pomegranates, I know that my god could only come from persia.

I would also like to say that my criteria for selecting Islam is more logical than Himuro's.  At least my reason for selecting the religion isn't completely arbitrary.

Also, like 95%+ of all religious people, I plan on not reading the holy books.  Instead I am just going to work from the assumption that everything I have ever heard about Islam while living in the US is true.

You're going to need at least one Muslim (or at least someone with a Muslim sounding name) aquaintance to reference as an expert on the subject when you argue with people.

Well, Himumu needs to hurry up and change his name to something islamtastic, then.  It serves a dual purpose:  1) It will sound authentic and 2) People won't know that it's really just himu.

That could be me! My family is muslim and I have an arabic name, that confirms my expertise in the area.
