Damn, I barely beat any of my PS2 games

I'm flipping through my disc album, thinking about adding last-gen stuff to my online backlog organizer thingy.... My track record on PS2 was atrocious. I bought so much shit and barely played it.

Same here, Save for the GTA's and a couple of other games, I just never finish any of them. Hasn't  anything to do with it being on the PS2, but me as a gamer.

I beat a few after I sold my ps2 by borrowing a friends (DMC)

I'd barely beat any of my PS2 games either until this last summer when I played and beat all the Ratchet, Sly Cooper, and Jak games, plus the first Prince of Persia, Everblue 2, and Lego Star Wars over a month. That was my 21-gun salute to last gen.

I probably beat more PS2 games than GC+Xbox games combined.  I spent a lot of time with the Xbox but many of my favorite Xbox games weren't really games that could be beaten, like sport sims or racers.  I don't think I beat more than 5 games on the GC.  The GC library was just sad.

MGS2 and 3 were stand out games.  Okami was an excellent adventure game, although it was a bit too long.

This is a problem with me too, but I think it's because the way I constructed my PS2 library was crap. I started buying gems way after their release and didn't really have the motivational hype to push me through all of them, with the exception of the MGS and Ratchet series. I'll get to them someday, hopefully soon.
