Im really enjoying the towns and cities, most recent jprgs have like one treasure chest and 3 house you can go inside... LO has shitloads of  treasure and little side-quests, I just spent like 1 hour in Valumar (sp?) collecting everything and helping out evryone etc.

this game is actually too good, I dont see myself sticking much else in my 360 for a while

to TVC, would you have preferred the game to be as good looking as Mass Effect/Blue Dragon but have small repetitive dungeons/enemies (pallet swap) like BD and huge barren worlds, few "plot" places like ME?

i agree with most of everyone, but the savepoint spacing bothers me sometimes.  i don't have much to do today until 1 pm, with a couple things in between, but i can't play the game because there is no garauntee that there will be a place to save before i have to take off and i don't feel like replaying.

anyway, i just got to the ship from the creepy town after the black cave.  how much longer to disc 3?  how much longer until i get better rings because the ones i have all suck.  and more slot seeds.

hey one question, when you get up the final big door in the stealth section, theres a bit in the bottom left corner with two security bots thats almost impossible to get by and not be seen by them, I spent a good 15 mins trying to pass them, then I made it past and there just a dead end, no fucken treasure or anything... then I got caught. is there actually a chest/something there or are those bots just a red herring? I was hoping for the latter...

I just bought LO and No More Heroes. NMH blows so far, and I am going to pop in LO tonight. Can I switch the voices to Japanese without losing any of the story's details? Are there subtitles in the FMV's?

Subtitles in all scenes, but the lips are synched to English so don't be a taco and turn it to Jap.

This has happen to me a number of times but only on Disk 2 so far.

it turns out that the lips are moving in time with english and not japanese, which i discovered after playing the game for several hours.  besides, while the japanese voice actors are professionals and the guy who does kaim and lady that does seth is really good, the script is crappy - which won't matter unless you speak japanese.  i'd go with english.  i bet the japanese subtitles are better than the script though.

when FF9 came out me and a bunch of friends played it and passed it at the same time.  this reminds me of that which makes it that much more fun.

Does anyone know around what level you're expected to be when you beat the final boss? Wondering if I'll be able to get all my mortals to level 52 without going out of my way to do it.

since the characters level up really fast when you are at a point that the monsters are a higher level, going up a level a fight sometimes, you should be able to find a spot to bring up your characters if the final boss fight is too hard.  the only spot i've found so far is the one off the coast on the west side of the map with hard monsters, which will likely be the exp gathering spot. 

for right now i'm not doing anything with ming because i don't need another immortal after sarah.  so i'm bringing up sarah's levels and using her with the party and then bringing up the levels of the kid cooke from time to time with just a couple fights while everyone else is strong and she brings new abilities to the table.  i figure later on i will bring other characters in and use them and catch the leftover characters up with just a couple fights at a time later on in the game, get them to 52 or 70 or whatever, and then beat the final boss with all the best abilities and characters.  i'm guessing that last fight is going to be a test of endurance and strategy rather than a situation that you can level past and whoop him in a couple seconds.

There's another place like that in the southeast but I don't know the monster's level.

I wasn't concerned with the final boss' difficulty, only with the level you'd have to be. If I'm only going to be level 40 when I reach the end then I might not bother crawling to 52. But if I'm going to be lvl55 anyway then that's awesome.

I'm using Kaim, Seth, Jansen, Cooke, Mack. I don't see much reason to use immortals when I could be learning new shit.

yea, just saw on gfaqs:

There's a way to get all of the items stolen back. There's a group of Elton you need to talk too standing around 2 screens back from the boss room (right hand side). You'll then fight a small group of them to get all of your stolen stuff back. There's also a sidequest that stop them stealing for good.
