ash is the villian of the new trilogy (2003, XI, XII) so it makes sense he is in XII. KOF is one of the few fighting series that takes the storyline seriously for better or worse. at least Iori should get a completely new design and fighting style since Ash stole his power.

the art director for KOFXII is Nona. I dont think Falcoon will ever touch a main entry in the series or have a major role in them.

I think Athena is the only weird looking sprite so far, the rest looks great. the game still has 6/7 months left till it's released. plenty of time.

I wish he was gone, too. I hope Iori's in this in some fashion, even though he lost his powers in the last one.

I have had a vendetta against the favorites star since 1999 (deadly serious. It's on my shit list right alongside Christian Leattner.). Plus the location of refresh is all wrong. And why can't I make everything clear like the very top (goes for pretty much everything really)?

Nona handles the 2D KOF games. Falcoon has Maximum Impact...it's his series.

ash must be popular in japan and korea for him to be kept. he was a stupid mistake of a character by american standards, but as far as i know america has the least amount of players of KOF and is therefore the least weight as far as opinions go.

i'm excited this game is coming and it's being redrawn AND it's 2d. wow.

in the other thread someone said that ps3 is region free so that anyone with a ps3 can import games and play them in america. is this true? has anyone tried it?

****EDIT**** i checked playasia and all the japanese versions are region free. holy shit ps3 came through. i might have to buy one just for that reason to support the system because it's what i've always wanted.
