Considering the worldwide simultanious release, I'd be surprised if the disc didn't have Japanese, English, French, German, the whole deal on there.

This might be the first MGS I play through since the MGS2 demo though. I like the cues they took from GoW. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up on the story without playing through 2 and 3.

The MGS story might still not make sense after playing the games. It's probably best just to read the plot summaries in Wikipedia.

What's in the limited edition anyway? I hardly ever buy LEs.

given the apparent "filled a full 50 gig" claim (which might be not entirely true, but lets say it is) does this point to them using uncompressed audio rather than just compressing it and having the one version of the disk to press? (ignoring possibly having to jig things around for load times etc)

I think the second people see COMPRESSED AUDIO they automatically assume it'll be crap, where as the reality is that no one is going to be able to tell a damn difference between correctly compressed audio and uncompressed audio.

The whole Compressed and Uncompressed Audio movement smacks of "HD Radio" type of marketing thats happening in the US (trying to leech of the HD Resolution movement)
