Is Sonic that bad?
I bought Sonic a few days ago, just for the heck of it. The gameplay would be almost passable (it's basically warmed-over Sonic Adventure 1) if it weren't for the MAD HOMO cut scenes, the MAD HOMO running around town, talking to NPCs, and doing mini-games, and the
BUTT-RAPING load times. When you go to do a mini-game, there's a 30-45 second load time then the guy tells you "Run through all the rings, plz." then there's ANOTHER 30-45 second load time while it loads the mini-game, then after you do it, it has to load back to the town which takes another 30-45 seconds. WTF Sega?
Basically Sonic the Hedgehog is a game that people might have put up with in 1999, but now it's just embarrassing. It is better than Shadow the Hedgehog though (at least the Sonic levels are, I haven't gotten to the Shadow levels yet
