I'll give it a chance because I enjoyed the first one (especially the under-rated soundtrack) but they really should be waiting till November to launch this.

I think GTA4 will disappoint so much that folks looking for a competent sandbox action game will trade-in the copies of Grand Theft Auto IV for Saint's Row 2: The Superior Sandbox Game.

This game is using RE4-style shooting, isn't GTA4 doing that too? I liked the old way, I hope it's optional.

I think this game can still find its place, its not coming out till fall right? I'm certainly gonna buy it, probably more excited for it than GTA.

Dunno about that. I don't think anyone expects the game to come any where near GTA4's sales, but if it has a few months of breathing room from GTA4's release, it should do decently.

Regardless, it will still be the superior GTA, anyhow.

GTA4 has a lot to prove. I'll take the old brighter artstyle with the new gameplay over the ubermature new GTA graphics with the same clunky shit in it. We shall see.

Running kicks ass in SR too, you fly across the levels, being outside of a car isn't torture. Car customization is ace too, I hope they really bump up the number of cars and add even more customization, its nice that when I spend 10 minutes on a car it isn't gone forever in 5 minutes.
