being playing it today, my first MD game and Im loving it. hilarious game even which I wasn't expecting. music is fantastic too.
best DS game so far this year, BUY IT.

well EO1 was last year and Shiren is this year. Im not bebpo.
the game is really really good, it's like an arcade rpg or something if that makes sense. there's even a worldwide ranking to check how good you are at the game.
the game has a lot of awesome moments, like I was hungry and I was going to eat a riceball (if your hunger stat goes to 0 you start losing HP for every move you make) and this old due appears out of nowhere and tells me he was starving so he asks for my only piece of riceball. I said no, he keeps insisting so I gave him the damn riceball and he gave me some herb that lets me gain a level without having to get exp, nice. so I was going on my way when I noticed a riceball changer monster turned the dude into a riceball. I killed the monster, picked up the riceball and ate it. too bad for the old dude!
