XBL Silver FTW. I'm going to start a Spring of FPSes--playing my FPS backlog which includes Resistance, Halo 3, The Orange Box, and COD4--soon and I'll probably get a Gold Account. This will be a bad move on MS part. If true the news for MS is just getting worse and worse. Year of PS3 continues?

They should be reducing Gold's price, especially if Sony fixes their service and has some games in the next year or two. They keep stripping shit from Silver users instead.

I'm paid through 2010, we'll see what happens after that.

I haven't bought a subscription since my first year with the 360. Free month cards FTW. I only use them when I get a game I really feel like playing online. I wasted so much with my 1 year sub by hardly ever playing online.

i barely used my xboxlive subscription, which means i will never pay for it again. i've learned my lesson by falling for it once.

don't get me wrong, lost planet online was awesome. however, after the novelty wore off i was bored with online as a whole and never played any of the games beyond the 1p mode.

Between all the shitty hardware fuck ups and their price gouging, I'm going to think long and hard before I consider picking up MS's next console.

I'm not trying to propogate a rumor, just telling you what I heard. This guy's given me the scoop on the live updates too. If they introduce a $120 points pack (which he said is part of the Spring update) then I guess he's right. He says they're talking about it as a when, not an if.
