Fincher did some ads for 'em.

I was surprised how serious Hawaii's meth problem is. I guess if you're on a boring island with nothing to do, you eventually start huffing strange substances.

What is the normal rate for sex in Montana?  Is it substantially higher than 15 bucks?

This actually sounds more like a commercial for the tourism board of Montana.

As far as viral ads go, they definitely do the job. I don't know how many people they'll manage to "scare straight" with these ads though, but hopefully some because meth seriously will fuck your shit up. It's bad mojo. People get on it, and then their lives just go right straight down the crapper.

No wonder my friend has seemed strange on AIM lately.

What if someone made a Ron Paul ad?

"Nobody thinks they'll vote for Ron Paul"

"Meth will change that"

What's ironic is that libertarians are probably the last people in the world who would do meth even though they advocate the legality of it.

As someone who was very close to someone who became a meth addict, those ads really hit home. Those are very powerful.

These ads might not be effective, but at least the shit is more accurate than stupid anti-pot commercials.

Those weed commercials are a joke.  As for these meth ads I could care less, meth is gutter middle American shit.  The prescription pill commercials are probably the only effective ones, since pills are basically the banner drug of 2008.  I'd guess at least 90% of parents don't even keep an inventory of their prescription bottles and have no idea that their Ritalin is basically compressed cocaine and that their kids would rather pop xanax and hydrocodone than drink beer.

that's because xanax is better than beer.

and yeah, these commercials are really accurate.

It's hard to describe a meth head, but when you look in their eyes, they really just look empty and souless.
