Another one-run loss for the Braves... :'(
Oliver Perez owns the Yankees and Braves. It is baffling.
Tomorrow its on like a MOFO. Is ESPN televising it?
Its pretty obvious all the one-run Braves losses are evening themselves out as one-run Rays wins. As such, my life is pretty balanced. Wasn't there a Seinfeld about that?
The Rays have been good for a while; they have just lacked consistency in previous seasons. This season they have been more focused in each and every game, and not just when they played the better teams.
I hate bandwagon fans.
Yeah, I'm really happy for Tampa Bay also. I'm not going to switch from rooting for the Tigers to rooting for the Rays, but it's exciting seeing them take over the league this season. I'm so sick of Boston/New York.

I can understand cheering for new upstart teams, especially a franchise like TB that has struggled so much in the past, but abandoning your team altogether for another ''winning'' team is annoying.

I go to other MLB boards were I find people jumping ship and it is depressing. I mean full on jumping on the Rays bandwagon.
Definitely.
Seattle is known for its great baseball fans, too.
No. I remember you guys had great crowds during the Griffey, A-Rod, Pinella, and more recently Ichirou days.
So the Rays might get Houston Street and Matt Murton.World Series champs confirmed.
