From the end of the eighties or so.
It unfolds in Alberta or Manitoba if I recall correctly, it features a young man in his mid-twenties. In the first episode his parents get killed by a reckless truck, and then the guy needs to examine his parents' belongings, and discovers he was adopted. I think he also discovers a tarot card by the same occasion, along with some other information which will lead him on the trail of his real mother, and also on a trip to various locations in western Canada so as to uncover more clues. He's also pursued by mysterious people. He drives a 4x4.
Tarot plays an important role, at the beginning of each episode there's a description of a tarot card, and the guy finds many more in the subsequent episodes.
In the last one I remember seeing, he finds his mother back (who's in a wheelchair), but he's still stalked by a mysterious man. Then based on my relatively hazy memory of it all, no further episodes ever aired. So I don't know if this is the last episode that was ever made, if there's documentation about it on the Internet or if it's available somehow on DVD.
I thought that someone like Father Mike or Malek could know about it...
