Presented Rhonda with the ring last night and she accepted, tentative wedding date is 8/11/07.

2nd and hopefully last marriage for me, 1st time for her.

I'll pretty much be touring all over the DC metro area, mostly in Montgomery County, to meet friends and family. I'll be around for a few days at the beginning of December, and fly in the 23rd and I'll stay until the 2nd.

That's right there are a decent # of folks in this Montgomery County/DC area... Hell somebody in GAF friggin lives less than 10 min from me(2 ppl IIRC). We should definitely try to get folks together(who are interested) and go out and eat/drink whatever.

Nowadays. I haven't seen any of 'em, save for my sister who flew out to visit me in sunny SoCal this summer, since last winter break. If I see them after December and before next Christmas, it'll only be because my brother has done what no man thought was possible - graduate high school.

And that is still up in the air, as he lacks community service credits requirements needed for graduation.

That in itself is mind boggling, as the Montgomery County school system awards you said credits just for attending high school. You can actually get community service credits for taking art electives, which benefits the community in what way, I do not know.

I know people stuck in rundown housing in Gaithersburg and Takoma Park would much rather have me finger paint than, I dunno, work on repairing dilapidated housing for impoverished, elderly residents or volunteering time to youths without role models.

He doesn't wanna be engaged while we're still in college. I have 3 more semesters, and he has 4 or maybe 5 more because of his double major. He knows though that if he asked me to marry him right now, that I'd say yes.
