WTF guys - this is nothing like "paying for PSN" or "paying for demo's"

ITs just some fucking online SONY mag/show that I personally and most others are not interested in buying.

You don't pay to play on PSN, but with QORE you pay to download demos and arguably betas through the guise of "invites": "Qore will feature exclusive news, developer interviews, in-depth game previews and behind-the-scenes looks at PlayStation games and special access to game demos, special beta invitations, game add-ons and other downloadable game-related content."

This is not ala' carte trailer/demo download fees.

But there are fees involved: "The introductory price for Qore is $2.99 for a single episode and $24.99 for an annual subscription of 13 episodes, using your PLAYSTATION Network wallet." You can argue that you may not directly pay to access said demos and beta invites, but without paying you wouldn't get to access this content in the first place.

also- beta's are a waste of time for the consumer.

stop working for free.....

there are enough real/finished games to play. playing a beta is not some special honor like getting to fly to the moon, etc.

publisher should at least send you free copy of the game after putting in so many beta hours.

i did actually try the MGO beta - for fucks sake I never played it as trying to get it installed/updated was a job.

Same reason why I won't get within a nautical mile of any new Windows OS until, at the very least, SP1. For me, anything else is the equivalent to paying for a beta version; if the OS was so stable why the need of service packs?

Your point about playing betas makes sense to me. I can relate, being that I have enough backlogged games I can start exporting.
