you can save between switching discs here, so no problem.

games like parasite eve don't offer a save point but there is a way, let me see look in my old hdd for a sec...

http://pspupdates.qj.net/RS-GUI-PopStationMD-v3-0/pg/49/aid/112951

try this for multiple discs.

for very quick and simple 1 disc rip, this is the best:

http://pspupdates.qj.net/Yet-Another-GUI-for-Popstation-v1-0/pg/49/aid/77618

also, imgburn is the best for ripping disc images: http://www.imgburn.com/

1- rip your ps1 games with this:

http://www.imgburn.com/

or download them from torrent sites, your choice.

2- convert image file to psp eboot file format with either this:

http://pspupdates.qj.net/RS-GUI-PopStationMD-v3-0/pg/49/aid/112951

or this:

http://pspupdates.qj.net/Yet-Another-GUI-for-Popstation-v1-0/pg/49/aid/77618

2nd one is noob friendly but don't offer many features like the first one such as combining multiple game discs/changing game id/compression/theme....etc.

3- once you are done converting, you will get an eboot file + key, put them together in a folder and move it to your PSP GAME FOLDER.

have fun.

and oh, check this list for compatibility issues:

No.  FF9 asks you to save between discs

just make sure all the discs have the same game id (they should by default.)

http://pspupdates.qj.net/RS-GUI-PopStationMD-v3-0/pg/49/aid/112951  ---> you can see/change game ids with this.

What the fuck.

I beat disc 1 and I did the usual thang. I saved when it prompted me to. I then overwrote my FFIX disc 1 eboot with FFIX disc 2 eboot after saving. I load up FFIX disc 2, seems to work the same disc 1 right? Well I try to continue from the beginning of disc 2 and the damn thing says "No ff9 data".

What the shit.

This makes no sense because the "Beginning of disc 2" save data is currently in my psp's game save files folder. So there's certainly still FFIX game save data.

FF9 on PSP was awesome.  I need to get another slim ASAP.  Best FF.

I was surprised in that recent best RPGs thread at GAF, a lot of the dumbasses over there are still operating under the delusion that FF12 wasn't a giant bowl filled with assmilk.

Can someone please give me a link that shows how to make it work on a PSP?  I've never played FF9 before.  Might as well try since the PSP library is so slim.
