Meh.  I'd have to hear some pretty amazing things for me to consider it.

Though I hope it does well simply so we'll see DR2.

This does remind me that I need to go back and finish business on my 360 copy.

Uh, go into it seeing that it is RE4 in a mall...it helps block out everything else.

Looks worse than I ever thought it would.  The Wii is full of tears.  Nearly two years in and the machine hasn't displayed anything even remotely on the level of the games on the Xbox.

Are you sure that isn't a video of State of Emergency: Zombie Edition?

Jesus.  The killed all the textures, added jaggies, and dropped the number of zombies on-screen by 90%.  Still, if Capcom fixes the save system, it'll be better than the 360 version.

ha, just watched that, man that looks like crap

the animations are awful, they all just fall over in the exact same way

and the attacks seem to go right through them

That looks pretty bad for a Dead Rising game but semi decent for a Resident Evil game. They should have just called it Resident Evil: Mall Edition. I'll pick it up when it hits the bargain bin.

Woah, Dead Rising had zombie dogs? Man. I wish my copy didn't crap out on me when it did.

There were nothing in the game except psychopaths, zombie humans, bees (plot device), and special forces

There is nothing wrong with the save system

i didn't like it that much, didn't care for the way you had to repeat things to "level up"

it sure was a cool idea, though, and i wanted to like it, just not really my type of game

The save system in Dead Rising was perfect for that type of game.  I still don't get why people wanted it to be changed.  It is the people that wanted it to be changed that think a survival horror game is all about some zombie popping out of a closet.  It put pressure on the player and forced them to allocate their time and face the consequences of their actions.  It is a short game and rewards players for replaying the game several times and giving them several different experiences.

But if you wanted to you could just treat it as any games with save points and only one save file.

I'm listening to 1up fm right now, and the guy who did the preview said the game maxed out at 10 zombies on screen.  Hopefully that shit gets bumped up in the next 3 or 4 months.
