4870x2 will be a beast, hopefully. ATI seems to still have some driver issues with Crossfire. There's benchies floating around of a single 260 beating an X2 in
some games. I think Crysis is the only one (but of course, it's THE game to tax high end GPUs...)
Anyway, I don't think the 8800GT, in any form, has the horsepower to push acceptable frames at 1920. It may have the bandwidth, but that doesn't mean a whole lot if the
hertz saturating that bandwidth can't keep up.
It's irrelevant to me, anyway, since I rock a 1680x1050 monitor. I'm just gonna crank AA and AF
