I'm sure it's a bug in the shitty proprietary platform whose shitty proprietary barely-documented embedded scripting language I'm having to work in, and since their platform is a black box I'll have to randomly change things in my code until I'm not touching its sore spot.  This sucks.

And it's triggering at inconsistent times --- this language uses refcounting for automatic memory management so it can't be at GC time right?
