it just got to be so much meh

it did a lot right

but then it also did a lot wrong.

i look forward to coming back to it in like a year or six months

i love the action and combat and the ease of questing and thought it looked great, but there was just a lack of an indescribable something with the game.

Gurren Lagen is pretty damn awesome

great to see an oddly surreal anything goes FUN mecha anime

but then i'm only on episode 4 so far.

there's a good base, like the melee classes are incredible, the fact that they have actual warrior priests and warrior mages are excellent

but they need a bit more content and a lot more cleaning up to do.

I was thinking about quitting after today!   :lol

Had a lousy day of my party getting split up and failing to regroup.  Then we got ganked by a group of 2 people that were just a few levels higher than us.  We should have won that.  There were 4 of us! 

Blah.  Lousy day of 5 hours playtime and only a couple levels gained.  Not that bad, but I'm feeling the burnout.
