We won't spoil the rest of the intro, but suffice to say it's infused with Rare's trademark humour and self-deprecation (at one point the Lord of Games explains that he is the creator of all videogames and Kazooie questions, "Even ones that didn't sell very well, like Grabbed by the Ghoulies?" - and that's the thin end).

The game looks awesome, but what the fuck is up with their inability to pick a good font and stick with it? I half expect them to return to comic sans next time they show the game.

I wasn't psyched for this until now. I'll have to see it in motion, but it looks like a pretty and fun platformer.

Very pretty, but I don't know much about the actual gameplay. Is it basically just a collect-a-thon?

Can't really trust Rare.  The only thing I know about this game, besides the trademark shitty character design, is that Agent Icebeezy went on and on about how it was the first 360 game with an engine design specifically for the 360, and would finally show what the system could really do.

And then the Rare guys said it runs on the Viva Pinata engine.

it's a fucking rare game

not true - you can always count on them to produce a C-grade copy of a game you played five years ago!

It was an OA talking point.

Anyway, I think this could be really fun. I need to see what kind of goals they give us. Goal oriented games like this always live and die by how exciting the actual tasks are. Building fun vehicles is nice, but not to pick up coconuts.
