You've got to have at least one achievement in Alien Hominid on your gamertag.
Gay. How much is that game?

It's ten bucks, or 800 points.  I own it, but I never really played it at length.  Should've gotten the demo as I was put off by the game.  Time to get the easiest achievement.  At least my purchase wasn't totally worthless.

Ugh the netcode is atrocious. And I don't think it saves your level progress before it boots you either.

Have you guys been hearing about save file losses? Appears to happen for no reason, some people lose all their animals and equipment and others also lose their levels.

Something is definitely up with the saving, I wonder if it's actually a glitch or just a misunderstanding like the N+ save issues. I just got the achievement for flawlessly riding the deer, turned the game off, and when I came back it acts like that level hasn't even been completed.

i can't even play with someone who lives a mile away from me. fuck, i could attach two tin cans to a string and me able to communicate with him, you would think with all these fancy cable wire it wouldn't be a problem.

Ive had to go back to previous levels even if Ive beaten the ones after it already, never had any save issues. I wish I could reset my Gray Knight and Red Knight though.

You can - go to Statistics on the main menu and press Y on the Red/Gray Knight, will reset their stats (and progress I imagine)

The troll boss is intense as hell on insane mode. It took me and two randoms like 10 minutes to take him down.

I've been able to clear 2-3 levels at a time before getting dropped. But then you always have to redo the third level when you reload, so you don't get far.

I don't regret the buy because I bought it primarily for local co op, but it's still bullshit for a premium priced game.

Or any game for that matter, why the fuck does MS certification take so long if no one even bothers to play the game?

Not entirely. Alien can't switch weapons. What's your gamertag MAF? I'll play. Add FatalT.

The unlockable characters seem to share spells, but I think they still have special bonuses. I just unlocked the Barbarian, and I'm getting criticals out the ass even though he's level 1 with the beginner's axe.

edit - I'm wrong, he just starts off with an axe that gives criticals. I assume that's what that cracked skull is in the blacksmith's shop.

Anyone else get that wooden club? +5 attack, +5 defense, -5 agility, level 20.

I built my dude as a tank, I need speed and majick :(

You need maxed up Magic to get the last Animal.  Then again, once you get the giraffe, you could just start a new character and level him up using it.

Is there some area or trick for easy grinding?  Now that I'm only getting one attribute point per level, I kinda need to grind quite a bit to beef up my magic.

The glitches in this game are out of control, I don't know if I'm even going to touch it until it's patched. It sucks because I get the urge to play it just about every day.

I've been neurotically buying shit at stores and going back and forth to the world map to make sure it saves.

I don't know if it works, but at least in local multi it saved everything I did. I just got all the animals, I'm up to the Ice Castle. Gonna try to beat it tonight solo, don't know if I have the time.

Wow, this necromancer final boss is like playing Lost Planet blindfolded. Fuck this shit.

oh nm, you don't have to beat all of them at once.

oddly though all online co-op play has been super smooth. Played with Polari who lives a couple of suburbs away and Viz who lives in Alaska (iirc) and had totally zero lag

Lag's never been an issue, just dropouts and save deletions.
