My office celebrates birthdays once each month with cake. Someone brought in the cake this morning, so all day I've been operating under the mindset that this is cake day.

It dawned on me a few minutes ago that today is Wednesday, and the monthly observation is always on the third Thursday.

I need cake.

When I was in grad school, our secretary would always make two cakes a month for birthdays. One of those cakes would always be a Jello cake...

Now, Jello cake is a very white trash kind of cake, what with it being a mixture of white cake mix and Jello powder, and having Cool Whip on top of it, but OMG ITS SO GOOD.
