Hey, mofos, recommend me a console game

I'm gonna make a trip to TRU for the B2G1 sale, but I"ve already decided to later trade 2 games for Gears 2 and Resistance 2. 

What's a recent console game that I should get?  The last console game I bought was MGS4.

Dead Space is coming out next week for the PC.  I can wait that long.

I think I've narrowed it down to Vesperia or Saint's Row 2.  Which one should I go with?

Vesperia is a great RPG, but it's very long and I found the pacing to be a tad slow. I know MAF and Prole think otherwise, though. I don't know much about SR2.

Well, I was gonna throw in a Vesperia suggestion. But it depends what you are in the mood for I guess... lots of people, even those who aren't into the genres, have praised both games, although I haven't played either yet. And I won't be at least for another few weeks, stupid 360
