This game deserves WAY more credit than it gets. Wtf.

New awesome patch means Warhammer loses. I'll keep Warhammer around for another few months to see if I at least wanna tinker with it now and than.

Made a fuck awesome SAINTS SUPERTRUCK WARWAGON with TIRE BLADES N SHIT.

Gotta play it at night, but so scared.

Saint's Row 2- About 8 hours in and have only scratched the surface.  Loving it!

Golden Axe Beast Rider- The third stage has changed my opinion of the game from "just barely average, why the ultra-low scores?" to "ah, now I see why."  The enemy A.I. is uber-cheap and knocks you off bridges and cliffs, resulting in instant deaths.  Very, very annoying since the counter system doesn't always seem to respond correctly.  I dunno if I am going to complete this now.

Street Fighter 4- I am so out of practice!  Got my ass handed to me, but fun stuff.

Soul Calibur IV- Learnin' the Lizardman.  I am liking switching between the Sophitia/Cassandra/Lizardman styles, although constant use is dulling my Taki skillz a bit.  I think I would like to get better with Rock but he just sucks so bad.

I think I'm gonna have to bring a bunch of recent purchases to the chopping block...too much better stuff about to come out.  Next week is Tenchu 4 and Castlevania OoE, plus I want Fable II and maybe Far Cry 2 (although I doubt I'll get this one unless people are raving about it).

i traded in some stuff for the SOCOM headset bundle because i wanted the headset, and i figured 10 extra dollars for a game was an okay deal even though i already have way too many games to play as it is

i've never played a SOCOM game online before, and i suck at it, i was basically a moving meat target for everyone

the game is also really, really ugly - i watched a couple of the making-of videos, and the prelim stuff they showed in the vids looks better than the actual game  :lol

i'll give it another shot tomorrow, but if i am not having fun within an hour i already have the ebay listing written - so at least i'll end up getting a discounted headset when it's all over

then it's back to the COD: WaW beta, and some company of heroes

the big problem with the game, and i should have realized this before i bought it,  is that at this point in the series if you're a newcomer like me you will likely never have fun with it

i can't get more than a few feet before i am lit up by a series "veteran"

also, almost everyone talks, and just as i expected, once more people bought headsets psn would become just like xbox live - infested with jackasses

getting a hang of Star Trek Legacy. Its definitely 'for the fans' but once you get a hang of the controls its decent enough fun. Worth the 30 I spent. I think the only downside is that shields are shields, rather than port and aft shields, for example. So from what I can tell, adjusting bearing to take concentrated fire off one side doesnt work. My shields went down and that phaser just cut along the hull as I rotated. Looked cool, but this kinda sucks considering Starfleet Command I/II/and III managed to do it fine. The most you can do is boost energy to shields and have repair teams fix basic aspects of your ship.

Honestly tho, the game just reminds me how awesome the starfleet command pc games were and how hard they are to find for a normal price :(

Isn't that the nature of every multiplayer game? What point is ther in playing a competitive game if someone who hasn't touched the game can destroy people who have spent time playing it. I say stick with it. You will probably get raped over and over again, but when your anus is sagged and raw you will be the one accosting strangers in alleys taking what you want. I haven't played Socom since 2, but when it clicks it's excellent. It along with Phantom Dust, SF3, and NFL 2k6 are the only console games I played online last gen.

The LifeForce collection is my fav PSP shooter disk.

I played Burnout Paradise earlier in the day. I have never played a burnout game at all ever. I like and appreciate that its free-roamness and game style is VERY different from Midnight Club and Need for Speed. I had no idea what to expect. I still think out of them all Midnight Clubseries is my fav (physics + humor + modes + drifting/handbrake turning). It will be interestin to see how midnight club LA hold up against this next week. Still an excellent game and well worth the $29 I paid.

I am kinda stuck on a part inthe sewers in Silent Hill Homecomming (hard setting). I may need to start over (which means ill likely rotate games). I am having alot more fun with the combat in this one. The details on the enemies look great up close in the flashlight. The more I play this game the more I am impressed with how it does move the series forward in a few ways(better combat, seamless floors/rooms, lighting/gfx) . I had very low expectations and they have been exceeded. I may go back and try another hard mode playthru of Silent Hill 4 (total ass kicker - especially at the end with your demonic friend onyour shoulder).

And just got done with another DeadSpace session. Im amazed how I keep walking into more and more new rooms and being frozen and amazed by the detail in the scenery and the lighting.

My fav deadspace moments so far are tims in zero gravity areas or outside the colony in the vaccume of space.

I hope/guess Deadspace 2 is already planned for a few years out?

Lost Odyssey is like FFX, only with decent characters and voice acting. I like it so far. Bosses have been challenging, those 2 worms took me a few retries.

The game gets a LOT easier after that, though, apart from some of the subquest bosses near the end.
