You dont actually need all the expressions, I was missing the two scary expressions from being evil, and I still got it when I upgraded all my abilities

I'm at the Spire quest...is the main quest really almost over?   I've only seen 11 regions.

also, level 5 shock practically breaks the game, as long as you have potions and phials.  :lol

How many expressions can you do without though? My friend has all the abilities but he doesn't have the achievement.

You need to 5-star every ability (do the exp exploit)

You need every dog trick

You need to 5-star the dog

You need I assume all the expressions you can learn from books... I had every expression except Threaten (50% evil) and Extort (100% evil)

How much time did you put into it, demi? You seem to have got through pretty quickly.

You can just join someone game who has most of the achievements and they can unlock them for you. I had Robby join my game and unlocked every non-story achievement excpet the Gambler (cause it was late and didnt want to sit around).

Oh, and you'll need to trade online for the Hero Dolls

I wish I could get into this game.

The more I play it...the more I think it is mediocre.  The streaming is horrendous, my 360 sounds like a Dreamcast playing this.  Menus are laggy.  Map system is garbage.  Character movement is sloppy, combat is choppy at best.  The story isn't holding my attention.  Bethesda gets shit for long dialogue trees, but sometimes these NPCs drone on and on forever.  Also, those stupid fucks always tend to get in my way when I'm going around town.  I just saved the first major hero, I hope the game picks up.  I'm having more fun doing jobs and buying properties than playing the actual game.

The game starts out good enough, but the mechanics aren't really enough to keep things interesting.  The quests kinda suck too.  "Slaughter a whole town" = kill 29 people.   The dog was fun at first, but now I'm sick of digging holes.  Combat is about the only thing keeping me going, but I'm seeing how much it costs for Level 4 Strength and Speed skills and I'm just not feeling like I'll even get that far.

The social stuff is a novelty...there are no consequences.  I did the "Destroy the temple of light" mission, went back to Fairfax, and everyone was scared.  Then I sat there eating tofu and celery for a few minutes, danced a few times, and they forgot about my massacre completely.

Kinda like Fable 1.

Yeah potions are the way to go if you want to level up to 5 stars for anything.  Potion dealers will eventually start selling concentrated items that'll give you a 62,500 exp boost.

Best combat in an RPG I've played. Combat usually isn't good in an RPG, but Fable II has simple yet very fun combat that looks pretty cool. I especially like mixing melee with the time control warp. A 5 star area force push is also cool. Haven't got the hang of the chained melee combat. Did a few times by accident but don't know what I should be looking or listening for.

Nope, just do the exprience exploit

* Get a second controller, have it join in - dont sign into a gamertag
* Sell all the second person's abilities
* Have second character quit
* All experience from him goes to your character
* Upgrade abilities
* Sign secnd player back in, repeat as necessary

I've given this game a ton of shit for being mediocre, but ever since I've hit the spire things have picked up greatly.

Plus I have a high powered pistol with time stop so I keep on using my master katana with time stop with my pistol owning the fuck out of enemies.  Adding a new layer, and having a good time.

I might have to raise the game status from mediocre to good.

I just buy weapons and other expensive stuff under the base value whenever I can, then sell it to traders at Fairfax Gardens who always give above base value for it. I keep all the highest weapons and when it became available only one of each master weapon with two augment slots. Easiest way to make money, then put all of that towards buying stores (and then houses) and keep around 50k (100k-200k when master is available) of gold for the next round of weapons. Sometimes I was selling 100+ weapons.

The game is  :omg awesome and generally quite pretty, but the screen tearing and foliage popping into view a feet away from my character makes it feel like it's just about ready to fall apart at times. Oh well, console gaming.  :gloomy

That's why it's better. It's a realistic take on the happy ending. No build up, no epic fight, just STFU you lost. Then once it's all over, you're still the same hero from before.

Forgot to post I finished this. Final 1/3-1/4 of the game is laughable and there's nothing to it. The battle at the end when you come out the tunnel sucked a giant cock too.

I'll go back and do the side quests eventually but I'm glad to be free of this for a while. Was fun for the first half when I was trying to work out what I could/couldn't do. Story is naff and the there's more fun to be had fucking around.

I may be SOL as of this morning. The past week there have been a few times when the game freezes mid-loading, and the Xbox message sound chimes, but does not display. Other times it does display and says "Disk is unreadable." As of this morning, it generates that message whenever I try to launch from the Dashboard.

The disc is pristine. The problem may be the drive, but every other game I have loads just fine. I wonder if the disc has some sort of odd compression, or if it's dual-layered and the other games I'm trying (Rock Band 2, Bully, Dead Space) may only be single-layered.

It may just be another in a long list of buggy issues with the game; the HUD gets elements "frozen" into it, such as this morning it would not let go of the more information pane along the top of the screen for focusing on individual NPCs. This meant that, instead of pulling my gun out and shooting, I could only get more information about the last NPC I'd focused on.

Another problem was that the HUD elements are apparently part of the save data, as the Westridge shooting range's "target: 15, (something): 1" stayed on my HUD for a few play sessions until I went back to it and did the range again.

Is buggy software a British thing, or is it just Sir Molyneux's fyne efforts?

What's the comparison to Zelda really? Zelda's meat and potatoes is puzzle solving in dungeons. This game doesn't really have that.
