On random moments, my computer loses hard drive space till it's almost completely full. I saw a couple of weird .exe's on the Task Manager, ended them and the problem stopped...... for a little while.

yup it's a fucking virus I think. How do I get rid of this? :'(

i've had to do a hard restart 3 times so far and each time was weird. The first time a shadow covered my screen like a curtain being closed in Bladerunner - Mac OSX had unexpectedly quit. Not firefox, not another app, MAC OSX. The second time I was watching Weeds and out of nowhere my monitor turned into a mood ring, literally...like someone put my laptop in an MRI machine. The thir time out of nowhere this crazy fuzz like on TV but with colors took over the screen.

Each time I:

1) held down the powerer button down for about 5-7 seconds to manually shut down (aka hard reset)
2) after botting up everything was fine
3) All I remember doing was clicking while in fullscreen, maybe too much. I'd recommend not clicking a Divx movie when it's in full screen at all.

BUT!

I had the same problems with Divx on Stage6. it has nothing to do with ninjavideo.

close it out through the process manager, then uninstall it like anything else. Hopefully it's not super invasive or a virus. if it still happens, it probably wasn't ninjavideo.

BTW: NinjaVideo seems like a preety tight knit group, I trust them, of course it could all be just a scam(for what, though?). But I trust them.

I wish more people used things like megavideo. You can watch / stream (although sometimes that sucks as the sound goes out of synch- probably a result of the reencoding at their end) but you can download the original file if you have a premium account (for which I paid £8 for a month), and they download really quick. It also doubles as a megaupload account, which is often useful.

Ninjavideo was good when I got it working but as someone above says, some of the downloads have been copping out before they're finished lately $:-\$
