I bought NG2 last weekend, beat it this past weekend, and have many of the same complaints regarding bosses as others. Specifically, how so many forced you to rely on the bow. I also didn't like how one could grab hold of you, chomp your life down to squat, take forever to do it, and there was nothing you could do to stop it. Sure, take my health to the floor, but be quick about it. 

Anyway, I'm replaying it again now. I like the overall game, but I agree that the last Ninja Gaiden was better.

All which had to be killed with the bow and arrow. That was more frustrating than anything in either game.

I've told the story before, I'll tell it again, but I saw a dude take his Xbox to GameStop to get help with that part. He had one elixir and no other recent saves. He had a save back in Chapter 6, so I was like "just replay the past few chapters" and he said "but I had to bring the system here just to get past Chapter 7!"
