Tough fucking vote so far. Saints Row 2 and Tales of Vesperia were the other really great games. Persona 4 will probably rock too.

Prince of Persia could be a sleeper title. Left 4 Dead full game isn't out.

oops yeah I've owned DS since it came out, but only put a few hours into it. Seemed fun. I was totally poor for most of the year though.

Thinking about it more it will probably be down to L4D, Fallout 3, MGS4, and LBP for my favorite game this year. Unless Prince of Persia or Mirror's Edge turn out incredibly awesome, it will be down to those four.

mgs4 is kind of a clusterfuck, but it's still more interesting than oh, everything else i've played this year combined. after a night of horde mode i'm tempted to give it to gears though. i guess that makes me a distinguished effete fratboy. mirror's edge will probably moot all of this tomorrow

Played tons of games this year, most of them were good, plenty of sleeper hits in there. But the 20 hours I've sunk into Fallout 3 have been the most memorable/fun so far.
