Yup, they've increased Robb's presence which I like. Some fans, especially Elio Garcia from Westeros.org, have argued it's a bad thing because it's such a generic television move, whereas in the books a lot of myth and mystery surrounds Robb's exploits. But I see no reason why the show can't use a mixture of that same myth/mystery while showing some of Robb's exploits. He's arguably one of the most important characters in ACOK, as his decisions influence so much of what goes on in the north and south.
