Finished Banjo XBLA with 12/12 achievements.  Gonna start Nuts and Bolts now.  I really hope the flying isn't as shitty as it is in Banjo Kazooie.

This game is pretty fun.

And what is a good way to have your car turn proper? all the vehicles I build seem stiff.  I need a hand brake or something.

Make sure you go back to the XBLA game after you create a N&B save. Grab the Ice Key and the Eggs for Stop n Swop and then go back to N&B, and you can get the stop n swop crates that give you useless items and a 0 point achievement

You should have the grenade gun by now I think. That's what I used. One shot blows all the springs off her vehicle.

After the initial forced linear stuff,  I just went around the showdown town and unlocked tons of cool stuff.  I still haven't gotten that second game globe thing since I've just been messing around and creating stuff.

So far the two best things are a plane where the wings detach and it becomes a motorcycle or my giant flying fortress.  The fortress is awesome because I have grenade launchers pointed downward to kill anything under me, plus I have an ejector seat.

Make sure you go back to the XBLA game after you create a N&B save. Grab the Ice Key and the Eggs for Stop n Swop and then go back to N&B, and you can get the stop n swop crates that give you useless items and a 0 point achievement

I'll probably do this tomorrow.

Yea I wound up using the grenade gun. Then immediately after I found the Sticky Ball by the LOG720 entrance :lol

The missions are a bit bad so far, and the controls are sometimes really annoying (one mission I actually got out of my car and beat people down to protect this guy), but i'm enjoying this game a lot.

And once you get the folding wings, there is really no excuse to not have every vehicle you make an airplane.

It really is an amazing port.  If there was ever a time that I hoped Rare was still with Nintendo, it would be now so they could port more N64 games -- then again N64 to Wii wouldn't be HD an as smooth.

I'm still mad I didn't get my code.  It was pretty much the prime reason I preordered it.

Oh well.  I'll just buy it when it comes out

The main game so far is overwhelming me, and I'm haven't been able to build anything cool yet.

Call GameStop online's number and complain, I am certain they will give you a code if you give them your pre-order receipt number (if you still have it)

Okay, well, I have the phone number bookmarked and I'm going to call tomorrow and see if they could give me my code.  Bummer I can't find the receipt though--I probably through it out, because I've always had good experiences at Gamestop, believe it or not.  I mean, they asked for a phone number, I figure they'd be able to look me up through that.

Got my copy today but I don't think I want to try it until the new dashboard hits on Wed.  I want a new game to install.  Faggotry at work here.

And I personally think the BK port is kind of shitty.  The further I get into the game, the worse the slowdown is.  I can deal with a little crawl but the game comes to a near standstill whenever you jump into the water, and god knows there's a shitload of water in BK.

I installed it to the HDD and I didn't notice huge decreases in loading but some stuttering went away, which I liked.

I'm enjoying the game but having some eh moments with it. I don't have enough parts available to me right now to engage in the fun building stuff, so I'm stuck with the shitty stock vehicles.

Explore Showdown town to get lots of cool parts.

My biggest problem is that the controls are shit when it comes to doing close range stuff.  The 720 level was so hard to even navigate because the camera and controls were so janky.  The one air race that you had to do was harder than it should have been.  I think the most fun is just exploring for new parts, then making a really awesome vehicle to fuck around with.

I just use the Humba prints and go from there, or the default "Chassis" options

btw if enemies are banging against you, attach spikes to the sides.

Some of these are so hard.  I actually spend like 10-20 minutes just building new vehicles and testing them to pass a 2 minute long mission.

wait, there are two Mr. Patches missions or was bob just mistaken when he said Banjoland? I don't want to do that again

I solved it by putting a turret on a vehicle and shooting it from the ground, then I flew up and landed on the thing before hitting them off using the wrench.

I love the replays to this game. I was having trouble with that sheep herding level, so I watched the #1 leaderboard guy, and slapped my face after I saw what he did. Why didnt I fucking think of that? So I built one similar to his, and got it first try. Amazing.

Currently at 62 Jiggies & 44 TT Trophies (basically, every mission I've passed fully) - and I havent even unlocked Jiggoseum yet.
