I arrived at the restarant around 9:16, thinking I was late but she had only arrived a minute before me. Like I said yesterday I wore a nice blazer, white shirt (first button unbottoned

) and some Dockers. She looked amazing in a nice red sweater and some jeans.
VERY easy to talk to. As advised I asked a bunch of questions I had thought about while driving to the place. School, interests, hobbies, movies, music, etc. Each thing was interesting and never forced, and I transitioned well from one Q to another. We spent a lot of time talking about school and music. She's a marketing major but does't think it's as interesting as it should be, and like me she's thinking about law school after she gets her MBA. Her music taste mimicked mine, and she's a huge Wu Tang fan hahaha, and agrees that Liquid Swords is the best Wu album (36 Chambers is #2!). She likes Fiona Apple too

It was weird because she remembered all this stuff from our childhood. I remember next to nothing about my early childhood and didn't even remember growing up with her. But she was going on about how one time I got sprayed by a skunk and another time I fell off some monkey bars because I saw a spider smh. None of which I remember.
We left after about an hour and a half, then walked downtown. It's been raining here for the last couple days so there were puddles everywhere. Then while we were talking she'd randomly stop, pick up worms from the pavement, and put them back into the grass because she didn't want anyone to step on them. So we did that for a bit

I didn't realize she had taken the bus to dinner that night so I offered to drive her home. We almost went to see QoS but both of us didn't have enough money lol, and she wanted to rent a movie. So we went to Hollywood Video and she picked Chinatown which I had never seen before. Watched it at her place. VERY good movie. By that time it was past 2am and I was like oh shit, I forgot the time. I walked to the door, then tried to give her a handshake but she was moving in like she wanted a kiss, so I kissed her on the lips which wasn't that great because I'm not great at it. She laughed and I said bye, and headed out the door.
I feel too lucky right now, which is how I felt about my last quasi relationship which ended in failure. I'm going to try to make this one work.
