Why does Affleck on the cover of the Chasing Amy DVD have no goatee while having one in the movie??!

I now make this the official chasing amy is awesome thread.

Chasing Amy is the film Jersey Girl wished it would be. A serious romantic drama with a little humor(which goes away about 20 min into the film and becomes pretty damn serious).

It's Smith's only true deep film he made and it's sad ending hits you hard. CHASING AMY ROCKS. It's no Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back/Mallrats goofy fun.

He goes on a big tirade about how star wars is racist. He says that darth vader was the ultimate black guy but when his mask was removed he was WHITE. Meaning all black people underneath want to be white. When Lando was brought up his response was "FUCK LANDO!"

Chasing Amy is so cliche .. so boring. Kevin Smith can't write a romantic movie to save his life.

Mallrats on the other hand, was low brow excellence. A coup de tat in corpulant antics. He peaked with that movie. It's all been recycled Star Wars jokes and crude sexual euphimisms ever since.

I also enjoyed Dogma. Only for the fearlessness of the concept. Even if the execution was a bit shaky.

It got pretty dumb and generic with the whole "either pick me, your best friend, or the lesbo" part. I've seen that angle on the Disney Channel many times
