A couple of reasons. I used to work at a major airport (Atlanta) for 2+ years. I had to go through varying degrees of security every day I worked. When I had super awesome clearance where I didn't have to go through security I twice smuggled in contraband for friends flying places. They'd just meet me and take their stuff and put it into their previously scanned carry ons. After the airport brass wised up and realized they were letting retail scrubs making less than 40k a year bypass security (I could have been bringing in explosives, ffs) I had to go through security like everyone else. I've gone through airport security more than anyone else on this forum, guaranteed.

If you seriously want to know how to mail pot through the USPS, here's how:

1. Buy a can of peanut butter.
2. Using a spoon make a scoop into the peanut butter to about the middle of the plastic can
3. Wrap the marijuana into a lock-tight zip lock bag. Stick it into that hole.
4. Put the peanut butter that you taken out ontop of the grass.
5. Take the can of peanut butter and cover it in wax paper.
6. Mail it!

Ta-da.

I heard that there are some critics of Alex Haley, just as there were critics of his work on Roots there were some on Malcolm X. Some of his family members and peers at NOI say some of the book isn't true. I've always wondered what, but I've never found out what exactly.

It seems hard to get a factual answer. A lot of the various stories surrounding the book have a lot of biases to them and don't make a credible case, like if or what Haley changed or the content of the two missing chapters.

I haven't looked into it for a long time and pretty much realized that I'll never really find out the truth.

Don't do this. I was a very very stupid 15 year old, went to Egypt and some dude gave me a tiny bit of pot. I don't like it nor do I smoke it (besides trying it once or twice) so have no idea why I accepted, and put it in my bra and came back to England with it (London Heathrow). Thankfully nothing happened, but this summer when I went to Morocco, when it landed here there were like 3 sniffer dogs and we all had to line up and be smelt by them. I was thinking back and imagining it was when I was 15, and realised how fucking stupid I was.

Yeah, not worth it.
