I was eating my lunch today and I was remembering the Age of Apocalypse. Magneto was able to create a magnetic field around his body very close to the skin, that prevented direct contact with rogue, but they could still touch. Was his magnetic field one way? If so, how did he uhh, you know do the business. I mean if it projected outward, wouldnt his "legacy" had been propelled outward as well? That sounds dangerous.

The bigger question is how she gave birth without touching the baby. He must have magneto'd it out of her.

Well prior to reading the earlier issues before the last bit of the arc that was in the 4 issue releases per title, I assumed that her absorbtion of powers from polaris kind of cancelled out her absorbtion when she touched magneto. In AoA she took her powers from Polaris instead of Miss Marvel iirc.

If thats true he could have lowered the forward shields on the "delivery module" and deposited his "legacy"

Age of Apocalypse is an alternate timeline created when Legion (Prof X son) goes back in time to kill magneto but accidently kills Prof X and basically time is changed to where apocalypse rules a large portion of the planet with mutants and wars with the humans in europe and Magneto leads the Xmen which is now nothing more than a group of rebel mutants. its pretty dark and fucking awesome.

I just liked AoA cause it was such a huge change in tone. I wish it never ended, but at the same time if it was still going on it would take away from its impact as one of the best arcs ever.

Death of Superman wished it was this awesome.

Yeah, or at least a cartoon mini-series. Magneto was hardcore in AoA too. He's an awesome hero.

If the magnetic field completely prevented Magneto's dingus from touching Rogue, how would he have derived any pleasure to build up to an ejaculation? It would be like thrusting into thin air. Even with a condom you're still getting friction, I don't think it would be so with a magnetic field.

Well I am suggesting the idea of a one way field. Basically things outside are kept out, but things can leave the field. Of course you'd also have to think that if the field were of that nature, as his legacy passed through the field, it would reach a point where it would be ejected from the field at high velocity.

There's also the idea that its only her skin that has that effect and maybe once inside he could lower the field I dunno, it doesnt make a whole lot of sense. I need to consult my AoA tomes again.
