I hate the radio spots that talk about going off script and then, of course, proceed to sound even more scripted. There's the one life insurance commercial that's especially insufferable.
Speaking of insufferable, the local sports talk station (790 AM - "The Ball") has apparently decided that all commercials promoting the station have to have random soundbytes from movies and television shows interspersed throughout the ad. It's like "radio ads for by dummies." Listen, jackholes, I'll let you get away with it if the soundbyte had the least bit to do with sports, double credit if it actually dealt with the topic of the ad. But none of them do. They're just annoying. :/
