He eats at places full of fat slobs that get greasy shit all over their faces and hands or just eat too much, then he does the same. Whats worse is you watch as the greasy food penetrates his shitty beard and he wipes his mouth with just a napkin like thats enough. I also hate how they only take about each place for 3 minutes, just long enough to see some gross shit.

this thread is amazing. hate on Guy Fieri, praise for Bourdain, hate for the Neeley's.

the thing I hate most about the Neeley's is that I'm 100% sure that both it, the spin-off, and the two shows with the DJ chick are only there to broaden the hosts past white Italian/wanna-be Italian hosts. It's like their credentials here were "are they black? y/n" instead of if they are entertaining to watch or if they can provide anything remotely close to programing humans want to see.

and personally I'm a bit pissed off that Food Network got off the diet show trend they had a few years back. Crazy diet shows where they showed you how to make normal foods at a lot less fat were awesome.

but seriously, watching Guy Fieri on TV hurts me. He's the type of person who you'd expect would watch the show instead of acting starring in it.

No its not just as good, you fuck. Still, its better than whats going on now. What I mean is this. I cant tell when I am watching 30 minute meals. Half the new people talk like Rachel Ray, the shows are shot in similar sets with the same filters.

Listen, I LIKE 30 minute meals. I was there back in the day when Ray was first dragging her hungover ass onto the set to force a show out whether she liked it or not- but this is getting sad.

Imagine a show where some pretentious Chef decided to find some various people (of different ethnic groups) who know how to operate a pan, but the twist is that these people are all on the edge of a life or a failed life. It's like some shitty drama documentary show that's over dramatized with the end result of having horrible looking food at the end while this douche bag preaches about some shit about how they need to take control of their lives. I'd let Guy Fieri teabag be before I watched a full series of The Chef Jeff Project.

I haven't watched that chef jeff project to judge but it sounds hilariously awesome so I may tune in when I catch it.

The Food Network decided to cancel all the shows that featured real chefs, in favor of thirty minute meals and semi homemade recipes. The only showcase for chefs on that network is Iron Chef America.

That said, Molto Mario was an awesome show. Mario just had tons of knowledge of Italian regional cuisine.
